Feel good ain’t bad!

Am sure you know that one of the ways we evaluate & navigate through what we eat is our sense of taste. While some ‘clown’ foods may taste funny, the body basically uses taste to analyze nutrition, toxins & poisons. The natural body response, from ancient times, has always been; ‘if it tastes bitter or makes you feel ill, then it’s not for you!’
The papillae in our tongues that contain taste buds are able to distinguish five (5) basic kinds of taste: sweet (sugar), umami (glutamates like Ajinomoto), salty (electrolytes), bitter (toxins) & sour (organic acids). Scientists tell us that only humans have a taste for sour foods. All other ‘animals’ avoid anything sour! For the most part, only what makes an animal feel good is what they like to consume!
It’s like many religious people also have that ‘taste’ for sour things! If it doesn’t taste like yesterday’s leftover, then it doesn’t feel authentically spiritual! Naaah! You can’t be really spiritual & have a happy face! It cannot be a ‘deep place in God’ if there is fun & laughter in it! If the preacher doesn’t look as serious as a man having heart attack, then the message is diluted!
Just don’t make a joke in the midst of the sermon or the ‘Spirit’ will leave! And if your dance steps look over exciting, the spiritual mood police will arrest you & send you to the ‘quarantine’ place where prayer warriors with metallic faces, will cast out ‘water spirits’ from you! And, shhhh, let’s not talk about fashionable clothes & other ‘things of the flesh’. Remember, we don’t do sweet in church! Yes, we hate bitter (satanic activities), but we love it ‘sour’ like lemon juice!
And then these not sour scriptures;
“Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.” – Ps 16:11
“Blessed is the people that know the joyful sound: they shall walk, O LORD, in the light of thy countenance.“In thy name shall they rejoice all the day: and in thy righteousness shall they be exalted.“For thou art the glory of their strength: and in thy favour our horn shall be exalted.” – Ps 89:16-18
So then;
-a- exhale, smile & let go of the religious burdens of life!
-b- receive the love of God & his gift of righteousness!
-c- love your life & find something sweet in life everyday!
-d-  wear your coat of many colours of his many blessings!
-e- hang out with people who bring sunshine to your life!
-f- enjoy real friendship & communion with the Holy Spirit!
-g- refuse to poison your destiny with the toxin of iniquity!

Today is the day for the sweet taste of grace! I command destiny doors to open to you! Let your life carry the fragrance of heaven! May joy fill your heart & saturate you’re relationships! No more sour! Your dreams will be fulfilled in Jesus Christ name!

Much Love!
